Support Raising

I'm starting out as a part-time (half-time) staff member. This means that the amount I'm looking to raise for the year is $20,000. Now the old me I might think to myself, "That's a lot of money to raise!" But now I see it as an OPPORTUNITY. An opportunity to partner up with people I know, people in the community, churches, organizations; The possibilities are endless!

In fact, I've been recently praying about the idea of maybe God wants me to do FULL-TIME ministry. There were 2 reasons why I chose to do part-time.
1). I wanted time to continue to do film/video projects
and 2). I thought part-time would be "easier" to raise.

But I'm having some feelings that maybe He just wants me to consentrate on campus ministry and let film/video opportunities just present themselves in the future. Plus if God has a plan there is nothing that can stop it. Reminds me of Ephesians 2:10

"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

God has already made a way!

But first things first. Let's just start out with this and see where God takes it! In order to start I need to raise 80% of my support (this equates to $16,000). And the school year starts at the end of September! This gives me a short period of time to raise this money. But God is ABLE! Prayer

"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel"
- Ephesians 6:18,19.

Clearly he knew the power of prayer and that he needed the people to pray for him. Also know that when you guys pray God is listening. How awesome will it be when we have stories about how we as a community prayed for the Udub community and God responded! With everything that I am I believe that God is going to do some AMAZING and MIRACULOUS things!
